Event Details: Breakfast Card Exchange - by Asher's Chocolates
Asher's Chocolates, a 119 year old candy manufacturer was started in Philadelphia and is currently run by the third and fourth generations of the Asher family.
They produce over 7 million pounds of chocolates and fudge annually from factories in Souderton and Lewistown PA. Their products are wholesaled nationwide (95%) and sold retail (5%) through their two retail stores (one at each factory), the internet, and through a new program of "Traveling Chocolate Shoppes". Come start your day with refreshments, see the store, and if you have the time, take a "behind the scenes" tour of the factory which is not available to the public. To maintain good GMP requirements, tours will require that you wear closed toe, non-high heel shoes and as a bonus you get to wear one of those "attractive" hair nets. Tours of 10 - 15 people will begin @ 8:15 with the last tour at 9:00. Come see how all your favorites are made!!!
