The leaves have begun to fall from the trees, the perennials and annuals are looking straggly, and the fall flowers are in bloom (asters, sedum, caryopteris, goldenrod and others). It’s time to think about preparing the flower beds for winter. But, first take time to assess the garden , take a moment or more to enjoy the fall beauty around before you “Put it to Bed …”, and think about planning ahead!
